Flick Fishing and Flight Control for iPhone and iPod touch games from 1 million copies

Can a game / application to sell one million copies? Absolutely, and it is the recent case of the software house Freeverse, producer of the game Flick Fishing on iPhone and iPod touch.

This is a game simulator of fishing, with several game modes. Much appreciated and welcome, for those who do not know, by the lovers of the sea. The developer, through a note on its site, said it sold 1 million copies of this lucky game, released last November.

Although this is a “play” from the cost (0.79 cents in Europe against the generic $ 0.99), is an important goal for any developer or small company and Freeverse is the first in all ‘App Store . You can buy on the page. Even more impressive is the same goal for Flight Control, play air traffic control simulation, which has sold as many copies as of March (in 3 months to 1 million copies), more details here.

This goal is made possible to the “closure” of the store made in Apple, which somehow prevents the dispersion of customers and reduce (relatively) piracy, ensuring at the same time, quick access and ease of use for any user. In this, App Store does not fear any comparison with competitors.
