The iPhone is still the number 1

iphone3gApple released its earnings report for last fiscal quarter (which runs from July to September 2009), and really not surprising to find that has broken sales records when it comes to iPhone and Mac compared to the same period last year.

Regarding the iPhone, during this period has marked the best result since this was released by Apple: about 7.2 million phones, which again confirms the iPhone as the smart phone number 1 with a growth of 7% over year. The only trend “strange” that has been marked in this sense is that, even with the departure of 3GS iPhone sales continue to point to the majority iPhone 3G instead of opting for the new terminal. In part it may be because there is no difference “significant” between the two, but unexpectedly the previous model still prevails on the latest model.

Although the phone market we can find infinitely superior in terms design and hardware, thanks to its interface, ease of use, price and brand that guarantees the quality next to a market that makes your applications use something even simpler, the iPhone is still maintained as the most unpopular among consumers.
